Linda Heiden

Linda is a community organiser, carer, retired IT training specialist and refugee charity trustee. Her MA (SOAS 2005) focused upon why NGOs succeed or fail at achieving their stated programme goals and, in particular, how an Iranian NGO successfully introduced computers into Iranian schools in the teeth of opposition from the clerical establishment. Linda is a passionate advocate of social justice. Her research in Iran, determination to help eradicate the digital divide and to develop high quality career development for marginalised young people were motivating factors in founding Community TechAid.
