We are delighted to welcome three new members to our board!
Commenting on their appointment, Linda Heiden, Chair of CTA said: “We had a large number of high calibre applications, and I am absolutely delighted to welcome these three exceptional individuals, whose diversity of experience, knowledge and skills will go far to further strengthen our board. These appointments come at a hugely exciting time for CTA as we enter our second fiscal year and continue to grow as an organisation.”
Ashley Horsford said: “I’m extremely excited to be joining the CTA team. I love the work they have done so far and am looking forward to seeing future efforts up close and personal. We have a great team here and I’m very grateful for this opportunity”

Dr Ivan Beckley said: “For so many reasons, being a part of CTA is extremely meaningful to me. Not only as CEO of a company that enables access to healthcare via technology but as someone who grew up in the areas of London that CTA supports the most.

Ashley Horsford
Ashley works as Senior Progression Coach for a youth charity called ThinkForward and sees firsthand the impact of the digital divide on people and their opportunities to progress.
Ashley has a history of supporting community based programmes and initiatives. He brings experience of board membership at the Amos Bursary between 2013 and 2017, and loves donating his spare time to helping and empowering others.
Sarah Olubunmi
Sarah is a Senior Manager at Multiverse, heading up the Digital Business Programme, supporting young people to start their careers through apprenticeships. A former English teacher, she is incredibly passionate about education and democratising access to careers for young adults.
Dr Ivan Beckley
Dr Ivan Beckley is a medical doctor and entrepreneur enabling digital transformation to create a more equitable healthcare system. He also holds a BSc in Global health and an MSc in Health data science.
Today, Ivan is an NHS clinical entrepreneur as CEO and co-founder of Suvera, a healthcare company enabling virtual care for people with long-term conditions alongside primary care. While at medical school Ivan worked with a number of leading health technology companies most notably Google’s DeepMind, working on AI healthcare algorithms for early detection of retinal disease.
Ivan was awarded one of the top 10 black students in the UK by Rare recruitment and No.3 on the list of Top 100 African and Caribbean graduates and undergraduates by Powerful Media, both in 2025. In 2021, Ivan hosted and co-produced an Audible podcast uncovering bias in medicine which was rated one of the top 20 podcasts for the year by the Guardian.
